Ed Sheeran New Album Announcement on April 7th?; Playing SNL Next Month

Ed Sheeran has revealed he will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on April 12th.

The singer/songwriter confirmed the news via Twitter earlier today and also teased fans by posting the date "7/4/14" (for us, means April 7th). Could this be the date we can be expecting the news of Ed's long-awaited new album?
