ATP! Presents: Brittany Has An Appetite (May 9th, 2013)

Anyone who follows drummer Brittany Harrell (@brittanyharrell) of Georgia's pop-punk outfit, Veara on Twitter would know that her account is comprised of talk about WWE, music and things 99% food related. With that said, we invited Brittany to be a part of the Alter The Press team where each week, she will be writing a weekly blog talking about the best meals she has consumed and letting the world know about her love of food!
Last week I got a text from my Mom that I was so stoked about... We were gonna grill out steaks at the house!
I absolutely loooooooove steak and boy was I pumped!
My Mom had the steaks cut at the meat department in Publix Grocery store and she had them cut NY Strips 2 inches thick! There ain't nothing like a NY Strip in my opinion. It's my favorite cut of steak for sure.
The steaks were marinated for a while first.
I like my steak to be cooked to a "Medium-Rare" That means it has a warm red center. We also had Baked Potatos and Bernaise sauce to go along with the steaks.

Man was this meal OFF THE FRIGGIN' CHAIN!!! My steak was cooked perfectly and was so amazingly juicy. I loaded my baked potato up with sharp cheddar cheese and sour cream. So rad, haha. I would scoop up some potatoes, stab a piece of steak and then dip that all into the bernaise sauce. I can't say enough how amazing this was!!
Needless to say, I ate EVERYTHING. In fact, the taste was so good that if there was another steak I would have probably ate that too!
