ATP! Presents: Brittany Has An Appetite (March 6th, 2013)
Anyone who follows drummer Brittany Harrell (@brittanyharrell) of Georgia's pop-punk outfit, Veara on Twitter would know that her account is comprised of talk about WWE, music and things 99% food related. With that said, we invited Brittany to be a part of the Alter The Press team where each week, she will be writing a weekly blog talking about the best meals she has consumed and letting the world know about her love of food!
I recently had some of the best Al Pastor Tacos of my life at a local mexican restaurant called "Mi Rinconcito" in Grovetown, GA. I've had my fair share of mexican restaurants all over the country, but these Al Pastor tacos were the best Al Pastor tacos I've ever had anywhere.
The pork was so juicy and flavorful. They topped the tacos with onions, cilantro, and a couple jalapeños for added "umph!". The corn tortillas here are homemade and holy moly are they friggin' awesome! I could eat the tortilla just by itself.
These tacos are authentic as they come and the flavor shows. The taste is unreal and leaves your mouth wanting more.
I love sour cream, so even though it isn't "authentic" to top these tacos with sour cream I do anyways, haha. The sour cream with these tacos is soooooo good. All of the flavors come together very nicely.
