Free Pancakes!? Heck yeah I'm down!!
IHOP every year since 2006 has created the day known as "National Pancake Day" and they give away a short-stack of their world famous Pancakes... for free! They only ask that you leave a donation of whatever you choose to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. It's a good cause so why not right?
I was super stoked to get in and get my pancakes on February 5th. I'm a long time fan of IHOP in general. Their pancakes are phenomenal and every breakfast item I've ever eaten there has been great! I went with my Mom there for dinner, and we were both stoked!
I first started off with a cup of coffee...
IHOP's coffee rules. I love it so much that from the time I was there I drank 4 cups of it no problem! Delicious!
Now let's get down to the reason I went... The Pancakes! I ordered my free short stack of pancakes along with a side of bacon.
I asked for extra butter and put some on all 3 of the pancakes. Call me weird, but I don't use syrup on them. I like just the taste of the pancake itself along with a little bit of butter. The flavor of the pancakes are so good, I honestly dont think that the syrup is necessary! I woofed down my bacon first and then savored every bite of the pancakes. I made sure to take sips of coffee in-between to really create a delicious meal.
The Pancakes at IHOP never disappoint. They are always light, fluffy, and incredibly satisfying. We made sure to make a donation to the Childrens Miracle Network once we were done.
Incredible pancakes and helping out people in need... Amazing!
