ATP! Presents: Brittany Has An Appetite (June 27th, 2012)
Anyone who follows drummer Brittany Harrell (@brittanyharrell) of Georgia's pop-punk outfit, Veara on Twitter would know that her account is comprised of talk about WWE, music and things 99% food related. With that said, we invited Brittany to be a part of the Alter The Press team where each week, she will be writing a weekly blog talking about the best meals she has consumed and letting the world know about her love of food!
This past weekend I went up to Helen, GA with my parents for a day trip! They we're very excited to take me to a place in Dillard, GA called the Dillard House because they know how much I love food and how much food you get to eat there!
Here's a picture of the menu board. What you see on this board is what they bring out to you. They bring EVERYTHING out to you and you can keep requesting more of any of these items for no extra charge. Oh and they also bring out to-go boxes for you to take home whatever you want!
They first start you out with coleslaw, melons, calico salad, jelly, and a basket full of yeast rolls, cornbread, and biscuits!

And lastly we finished off with blackberry cobbler! And just like the main meal, you can request as many of these as you want too!
Everything was so good and I left STUFFED! My favorites was the Country Style Steak, Ribs, Cabbage Casserole, Collard Greens, Fried Okra, and Cornbread. Another cool thing to note about this place is that you never know whats gonna be on the menu. Whatever they have on the board that day is what you're eating! So good! They also do this for breakfast. My parents have been for breakfast before and after what they told me they do for breakfast, I hope I can make it up there one day to try it!
