ATP! Presents: Brittany Has An Appetite (June 13th, 2012)
Anyone who follows drummer Brittany Harrell (@brittanyharrell) of Georgia's pop-punk outfit, Veara on Twitter would know that her account is comprised of talk about WWE, music and things 99% food related. With that said, we invited Brittany to be a part of the Alter The Press team where each week, she will be writing a weekly blog talking about the best meals she has consumed and letting the world know about her love of food!
There's a local Mexican restaurant in my town of Augusta, GA called "Hacienda". It's a place that my friends and I go to all the time. They treat us like family there. You won't find a cooler Mexican restaurant here in town.
Since we are friends with all the people that work there they let us create some pretty cool food items! I decided to get a burrito with grilled steak, french fries, sour cream, and cheese! This ain't on the menu, but let me tell you it was awesome!
I ordered it in hopes of a "San Diego" style type burrito. We're in Georgia so just know that they don't really know what that is. For the cheese they covered it in Queso. (This isn't typical of the "San Diego" style burrito but hey who doesn't love a burrito covered in Queso!? I wasn't mad that's for sure! And remember we're in Georgia, not Cali.)
On the inside the burrito it was loaded down with steak, crinkle cut french fries (I love crinkle cut fries!), and sour cream. Then the burrito was covered in Queso.
This burrito ruled!! I also made sure to apply "Valentina" hot sauce all over the top of it before eating. It wasn't a true "San Diego" style burrito but holy crap was it delicious! Hacienda is awesome and I go there a lot. I'll definitely be ordering this creation again for sure!
