The Madden Brothers (Good Charlotte) To Release Album In The Summer

According to a recent article with Rolling Stone, The Madden Brothers (Joel and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte) are hoping to release their previously reported new album in the summer.

Benji Madden made the following comment:

"It is a completely different project – it sounds nothing like Good Charlotte other than that you’ll recognize our voices. But there are a lot of acoustic guitars and we're working with a whole different set of people. I’m definitely excited for people to hear [the new music]. It’s some of my favorite songs we’ve written so far."

The album will feature production by Pharrell and Butthole Surfers' Paul Leary.
