December 14th, 2011 (Happy Birthday, Brittany!)

You can't have a birthday party without friends, family, and of course some awesome food!

This past Sunday was my birthday! I was very excited because that meant it was time to chow down.

My family and I decided to have the get together at my Grandmas house. I chose Pizza Hut pizza for the main course and for my "birthday cake" I went a different route. I really love the peach cobbler from Shane's Rib Shack so we ordered a big pan of that to be my "birthday cake".

First off, let's talk about the pizza. As I said before we ordered the pizzas from Pizza Hut. Why Pizza Hut you ask? Well Pizza Hut's thin crust pizza is one of my favorites. Mainly because of how crispy the crust is. We ordered 6 pizzas total. We had 2 thin crust pepperoni, 1 thin crust supreme, 1 pan cheese, 1 pan meat lovers, and 1 pan supreme.

I ate the thin crust pepperoni and thin crust supreme. To me, there's nothing better than a nice crisp crust on a pizza and Pizza Huts thin crust pizza has got it down. It's the perfect balance of topping, cheese, sauce, and dough. Once you bite into it you're in thin crust pizza heaven!

I also like to top my pizza with some hot sauce. Texas Pete is my sauce of choice. If you haven't ever put ol' Pete on your pizza, give it a try! You won't regret it!

The crust, peaches, and really everything about this cobbler is amazing. The "crust" is my favorite part. I made sure to get a good scoop of the crust in my bowl.

I was very happy with the pizza and cobbler. I don't think I could of had a better food combo on my birthday!
