Broadway Calls To Record New EP

Broadway Calls will begin recording a new EP later this month.

The band posted the following update:

"Hey, I think it’s time to let you guys know that we’ll be recording a new EP next month. In mid June we’re going down to The Atomic Garden studios in East Palo Alto for a few days to record a few songs and get them out to you as fast as possible.

While we were in California last month, we recorded a new song for the Comadre Mixtape #5. It turned out great, and Jack’s studio and recording techniques just keep getting better and better. So we decided to go back down there and record an EP. We want something new out for our tour we’re planning around the Fest this fall. While having a new LP would be sweet, it just won’t be able to happen in time if we’re going to make it the way we want to.

We don’t have a whole lot of details yet. Out of the songs we’ve been writing for the last year, we’re still trying to decide which ones to put on the EP and which ones to save for the full length. And, we’re still writing. We’ll continue to write all the way up until we go into the Blasting Room later this year.

Oh and that mixtape comes out in just a few days! It’s a benefit for Japan, and you can hear it by donating and downloading. June 1st!
