Exclusive Tour Blog: Starters (Day 11)

Recently Ireland's Starters kicked off a UK and European tour with Rochester, New York natives Such Gold.

Throughout the tour, Starters will be writing exclusive updates from the tour especially for Alter The Press!

Bassist Ian Kelly has checked in with an update of events over the past few days.

February 27th - Southampton
This morning saw the departure of our new friend RJ and our drummer Anthony. Anthony is doing his final exams in college. I headed to the airport at 6am to drop of Anthony and pick up our friend Cummo who will be driving us for the rest of the tour. We spun back to the sleeping stop and drove to London to pick up our friend Bob, who is filling in on drums.

We got into Southampton early so we headed to The Old Alf for free pool and to watch the Carling Cup Final (haha Arsenal.) Our Time Down Here played again tonight. Such a great band. Bob killed it his first night on drums! Tonight was Koji's last night on tour. I love that dude so much! I made a great friend in him on this tour. He was incredible as always. Such Gold also ruled tonight and played both songs from their side of the Into It Over It split.
