Alter The Press! Presents: StoryBoard
After spending numerous years playing in different bands, Dublin pop-punkers StoryBoard are on their way to bigger things and are going to have fun whilst they're on their way. With a sound that is reminiscent of Four Year Strong as well as Valencia, the five-piece describe their music as "easycore" and as their new EP, 'Tear This Down' shows the band make good use of favorable harmonies and hardcore breakdowns. Joined together by a strong friendship, StoryBoard recently support A Day To Remember at their sold out show in Dublin and have just signed to emerging Hang Tight Records. With plans to come over to the UK and a new release later in the year, expect StoryBoard's name to be popping up more.

StoryBoard: StoryBoard are a band who don't want your money! All they want is for you to come party with them. Download the FREE ep's, have fun listening to the songs and mosh and throwdown with them.
They have always been about real things, their songs reflect real life situations from taking people down who think they're better than you, to fighting with your other half. There will be something you can relate to in these songs. But, don't forget the epic break downs, the catchy chorus parts, and the techy tapping riffs! They're all a big part of StoryBoard!
ATP: What's the story behind the band?
StoryBoard: StoryBoard are a five piece easycore, pop punk band from Dublin, Ireland. They came together from years of friends playing in different bands which went no where and were no fun, so then eventually deciding to all play in the one band, seemed like something that just needed to happen, it's very easy and natural, but most of all, fun! The odd member has changed here and there, but there's always been a solid friendship in the band, which is what is needed for a band to really work.
ATP: Single highlight as a band so far?
StoryBoard: Supporting A Day To Remember in Dublin's Academy, the show was sold out it was the most epic show we've ever played! ADTR are super nice guys too!
ATP: What are your plans for the 12 months?
StoryBoard: For the next 12 months we want to invade the UK! We love Ireland, and will continue to play home town shows, but for the next 12 months we want to let everyone in the UK know we're here to party and throwdown! We plan to play shows in all the major cities and towns with awesome bands, who we will also bring home with us to do smaller tours across Ireland. We also plan to release a new EP/Split by the end of the year with Hang Tight Records.
