P Is For Panda Label To Close Down

P Is For Panda, a clothing and label imprint of Hopeless Records has announced it will be closing.

Founder Chad Pearson posted the following message:

"Where do I start?

Well, during the past few years, I have been afforded the chance to work with some great people and some great artists but, unfortunately, the time has come to end this chapter of my life.

P is for Panda was created to promote art and charity. I believe, at the end of the day, that Panda closes its doors while still doing that.

It's truly a blessing that Panda was able to work with artists like Brian Manley, Mark Penxa, Roy Fleeman, Brett Miotti, M. Brady Clark, Jesse Ledoux and more. To work with musicians like Damion Suomi, Mike Dunn, Louis DeFabrizio, Brandon Clark, Andy Shauf, Lauris Vidal and Andy Zipf was incredible. And being able to contribute to various non-profits was the icing on the cake.

You may be asking what happens now? Well, Damion Suomi and The Minor Prophets' new album will be released on Hopeless Records/P is for Panda. Andy Zipf’s new record “Jealous Hands” is still in limbo, but rest assured, we are actively looking for ways to get the record out. The other bands will be released of their contracts and will still be going strong. I, for one, can’t wait to hear the new music that is sure to come from these bands.

So, I want to say thanks for supporting what we have been doing. Thanks for letting the bands stay at your house. Thanks for buying them drinks and dinner. Thanks for telling your friends about them. Thanks for the best three years of my life. I lived my dream, and you guys helped me do that.

A very very special thank you to the entire Hopeless Records staff, all whom I love and respect dearly, who let us do this for three years with them.

Signing off one last time, Chad Pearson for P is for Panda.

PS. We still have merch that we need to get rid of, so if you were ever waiting to buy something, do it now, or else. Click here for the store."
