Alter The Press! Presents: Everlyn

Hailing from Madrid, Spain, female-fronted rockers Everlyn have been lucky enough to leave their homeland and record their latest EP, 'Anything But Easy' in Balitmore with Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, Senses Fail.)

The resulting EP is a favourable collection, with plenty of melodies and hooks that leads to a strong attraction to the five-piece. Tracks like '3 Years Ago' and 'Toronto Is Not That Faraway' are bold and ticks all the right boxes when it comes to crafting a neat pop-rock number. On top of that vocalist, Karol gives her American counterparts a run for their money and at times her voice takes center stage.

With a superb collection of songs, a tight-knit band and new album planned, expect to hear the name 'Everlyn' more in the coming months.

For Fans Of: Jimmy Eat World, Paramore, and Yellowcard.

Alter The Press: Why should Alter The Press! readers check you out?
Everlyn: Because we're sure they will like a fresh new band from Spain

ATP: What's the story behind the band?
Everlyn: We are just a bunch of friends with the same taste in music that decided to get their passion to the next level. We really like American music, so we're trying hard to fit in over there being outsiders.

ATP: Single highlight as a band so far?
Everlyn: Sharing a stage with Simple Plan, Further Seems Forever or Floggin' Molly.

ATP: What are your plans for the 12 months?
Everlyn: Well, on January the 18th, our song "Stars" will be released as part of the last chapter of the legendary emo/indie series "The Emo Diaries" by Deep Elm records. On March we're recording our brand new LP in Berlin, Germany and two months later we are touring Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Also got some shows in Spain and hopefully wish we could make it to the UK and US before the year ends.

'Anything But Easy' by Everlyn is available now Rockhit Records.
