Single Review Round-Up: Canterbury, Young Guns and Four Year Strong
Available now
Canterbury are one of the many up and coming UK bands that have been receiving much praise in recent months. 'Calm Down' follows on from their free mini-album, 'Thank You'. Starting off with a dance-y beat, before bursting with warm brand of rock. It's a great introduction track, if you're yet to hear Canterbury; a superb, strong chorus and great production shows why they are definitely one to keep an eye on.

Young Guns - Weight Of The World
Released on November 1st
Young Guns return with an offering from their 'All Our Kings Are Dead' album. 'Weight Of The World' is a lively, favourable rock track that shows Gustav Wood's vocals is a good light, whilst the bands pounding sound backs up what is one of the albums highlights. Add to that some superb guitar riffs, and you're left with a winner.

Four Year Strong - Tonight We Feel Alive (On A Saturday)
Released on November 8th on Defacto/Universal Motown/Decaydance/Island Records
Whilst the release of a UK-only single months after its video release is questionable. For anyone who hasn't heard Four Year Strong yet, 'Tonight We Feel...' pretty much sums up the bands style; upbeat, fiery pop-punk meets thriving hardcore. Dominated by a the simple group chorus shout of "Tonight we feel alive!" and pounding drums, the track works well on record but is more affective in a live setting. Nevertheless on its own its still a favourable track and has potential to win over (any) new fans.
