Polar are ready to take the UK by storm, and to agree with their own words below, are most definately the 'fresh sound that punk rock needs'. These 5 guys play ferocious punk rock that will literally take your breath away. Go see this band live and you will see for yourself, but be prepared, there is a very high chance that at some stage of the night you will get a very up close and personal performance from lead vocalist Adam, as he roams the crowds during their blistering performances like a man possessed. Alter The Press: Why should Alter The Press readers check you out?
Polar: We're loud and in your face with a fresh sound that punk rock needs.

ATP: What is the story behind the band?
Polar: There's nothing in specially in terms of how we got together, we had all been friends for a long time and had been in diffrent bands. When the opportunity came along we just happened to all be in the same place, had the same attitude and ideas towards the music creating the sound you hear now. Less than one year later and your here we are today.

ATP: Single highlight as a band so far?
Polar: It's hard to say as we've been fortunate enough to have a host of good things come our way but if we had to choose it would probably be touring with our friends It Prevails and Heart In Hand this summer. We had some many fun times with those guys and a lot crazy shit happened but all in all made for a great tour.

ATP: What are your plans for the 12 months?
Polar: We are going to be on the road a lot in the next twelve months to support our upcoming release of our EP "This Polar Noise" with a couple of other surprise in store later on in the year.
