Sensible Fun Split Up
Two free EPs can be found here and a statement from the band, can be viewed by clicking read more.
Statement from the band:
"After 4 years together, Sensible Fun have made the decision to no longer continue as an active band.
This decision comes without any malice or bitterness within the group, but a sheer change in the band’s geographic dynamic.
As a result of the sudden split, we have decided to put our newly recorded EP, ‘Putting the Rage back in Average’, up for FREE DOWNLOAD on the main profile section of our MySpace page.
Not only this, but we are also placing our debut EP, ‘This ain’t Rock ‘n’ Roll, This is Genocide!’ up for FREE DOWNLOAD as well! Aren’t you lucky…?
We are all very proud of both releases and hope that you enjoy listening to them anywhere near as much as we enjoyed making them over these past few years.
Sensible Fun members will be returning in the future in various other projects, which we will inform you of on this page, alongside our various social networking outlets; so stay tuned!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who has helped us, supported us and believed in us throughout this incredible journey. Every person that turned up to a show and enjoyed the music, shared a stage with us, helped us record our tunes or simply sent a kind word our way - it meant the world to us.
On a personal note, I would like to thank my fellow bandmates for all of the hard work, great memories and rockin’ tunes that came out of this project. It’s been amazing and I couldn’t have done it with a better group of people.
Please support local music – without people to show their appreciation, your local scene will decay. We have some amazing talent in our local ....Cambridge.... scene, so support our friends and get out and enjoy some great music!
Thank you all.
Craig Hardy.
