I Surrender Records is proud to announce their newest signing and to welcome a familiar face back to the family. Valencia has re-signed to the label and the Philadelphia quintet is ready to take their music to the next level.

The band introduced themselves with 2005’s “This Could Be A Possibility” and their unique sound was perfected with their second full-length, “We All Need a Reason To Believe”, which went to #6 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart after its 2008 release. Through the kind of never-quit persistence and a DIY work ethic that is hardly seen today, Valencia continue to impress loyal and new fans alike.

Valencia is currently recording in Los Angeles, CA with Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182) and Carlos De La Garza (Neon Trees, Alkaline Trio) for their much-anticipated third album. With an upcoming tour in Japan and much more on the horizon, Valencia continue to carve a name for themselves as the voice of the young and hopeful, armed with powerful hooks and catchy choruses.
