Single Review: In Gratitude - Moving On

In Gratitude's ambient indie-rock style makes a big, last impression with debut single 'Moving On'. A delicate piano blended with a soaring guitar and a strong, punchy chorus is an all-round good start for this South West quartet. It's definitely one of the best singles so far this year.

The main b-side ('Delirious') compliments the a-side well, as Matthew Guttridge's light vocals support the breezy acoustic-based number that is enticing. On top of all this a well structured remix of 'Moving On' rounds off this fantastic debut. In Gratitude can be compared to the likes of Futures and Canterbury, and like them they are one to watch out for, as this is surely the first step towards better things.
