Deception Of A Ghost have signed to Trustkill Records. They will release their debut album 'You're Not Alone' in the Summer.

Trustkill Records Statement:

"Trustkill is excited to announce the signing of DECEPTION OF A GHOST from North Carolina. DOAG seems to have set the standard of how to make it in today's music biz by booking there own headlining tours all over the US. Guitarist and vocalist Buddy commented,"We just figured out from the start, we can't wait for people to make this happen for us, they don't care, we can do this on our own, shit really pays off!" The band armed with this DIY ethic has set out and played with Iwrestledabearonce, For The Fallen Dreams, In Fear And Faith, Vanna, Memphis May Fire, Stray From The Path, Stick To Your Guns, Greeley Estates, and more.

A collaboration of clean vocal melodies and thick screams blended with an onslaught of breakdowns and their triple harmony guitar attack is what shapes and molds their unique sound. Their freshly recorded album entitled “Speak up, You're Not Alone” was recorded with Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, For Today, He Is Legend) and will be released on Trustkill Records Summer 2010."

"To sign with Trustkill records and saying its a dream come true is an understatement for me. They have the bands that made me me wanna play music that we all looked up to and were influenced by. Now to say we are a part of that is nothing more than unreal. To me it's more than a dream its a sense of accomplishment. We have all caught ourselves in the van going to shows and saying "Can you believe we just signed to Trustkill" Yea this is a dream but I'm finally awake this time!"

Vocalist, Blake;
"I’ve written songs about following your dreams. I’ve been to countless shows and said “Wow, I want to do that.” and I've always said I will do what makes me feel alive. Music makes me feel what no one seems to feel anymore and I never thought something of this magnitude would come our way. Trustkill Records has sparked a flame that will burn forever in my heart for this industry. I may be young, but I can firmly say that I hold a dream and will never let go."
