VersaEmerge Record with Three Six Mafia

VersaEmerge have posted a new myspace blog, where they state they have been recording new material in LA with producer Josh Abraham, as well as collaborating with Three Six Mafia.

Hey everyone, Blake here! So last week was our first time on the west coast. After the SXSW festival in Austin we drove straight to LA to record a cover song for a couple of days with producer Josh Abraham (30 Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park, Pink.) While I was finishing up some guitar tracks, some of the guys were hanging around outside of the studio. In the parking lot Anthony ended up meeting Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia who was working in the B studio. Anthony gave him one of our EPs. About 15 minutes later, the producer they were working with, Brian Kennedy (Rhianna, Chris Brown, Jesse McCartney) came outside and told us that the guys in Three-6 absolutely loved our CD and wanted us to come in and write with them. We ended up collaborating and writing with DJ Paul and Juicy J until 3 AM the next morning, programming instruments, arranging strings, and tracking guitar and vocals.
