Hit The Lights Announce New EP

Hit The Lights have announced they are to release a new EP which will feature new songs, as well as covers and acoustic songs.

The bands myspace said:

"So it's been a good two months off of the road, as some of you may or may not know, we have been in New Jersey for a lot of it. While there we recorded some new material and wrote a BUTT TON - as well as gave some poor people our views of the world through our extra spicy HTL PODCASTS. Not too bad, right? It gets better (keep reading).

We took a time out from our beloved east coast this week and made a trip to the beautiful state of California, where we recorded two brand new songs tah' pinch yer nipples too! We went in with Mark Trombino (who has done incredible, incredible things with names such as Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World, Midtown, The Starting Line to name a few) and John Feldmann(equally incredible things with The Used, Story of the Year, Good Charlotte etc) and came out with some pretty sweet stuff that we're stoked for you guys to hear! That being said, we will be releasing a new EP this summer which will contain some acoustic songs, some cover songs and a touch of new sh*t to send it down smooth! How was THAT worm? Did I chew it up enough? Also, expect a brand new stinkin' podcast on Absolutepunk.net within the next few days as we embark on the 09' Alternative Press with 3OH3!, The Maine, Family Force Five and our good buds in A Rocket to the Moon! Good times, good dudes, and me eating out of a can on a major publication(I'm fekin' famous ya'll). Not a bad two months eh? Can't wait to get back on the road and dominate some states - you down?
