Attack Attack! to be Included on New Guitar Hero Game

'You and Me' by Attack Attack! will be included in the 5th Guitar Hero game.

Activision Publishing, Inc. announced yesterday that the band had won the Guitar Hero Listening Session at MIDEM 2009. The listen session was voted on by a panel of industry veterans, with the band beating over 200 other submissions. MIDEM 2009, which ran from the 18th to 21st of January, is seen by music professionals from across the globe as a place to discover up-and-coming music superstars and meet with the music community at large.

Attack Attack! frontman, Neil Starr said:

"Finding out we were going to be on the next Guitar Hero was unbelievable. It's a game we all love playing and one that has keep us entertained on tour for many, many hours. I keep having to pinch myself to make sure this is not some kind of dream! I think I know what Charlie felt like now when he found the last golden ticket to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory!"

The announcement is backed up with more good news for the band, having recently learnt that the track will also be used in an upcoming episode of hit US TV show 90210. The episode airs in the US on March 31st and later on in the year in the UK.
