Blakfish Begin Work On New Album

Birmingham band Blakfish have began work on their new album in Seattle.

The bands blog stated:

"We have arrived! After much trechorous travelling, We’ve made it. We got to the studio in style baby!! It turned out to be cheaper to get all of us in a stretch limo than a mini bus, so naturally, we opted for the limo. We were then dropped off in the middle of Aurora Ave N where we couldn’t find the studio and began to worry. However the entrance turned out to be round the side of the building and we got in just fine. Chris let us in and we started discussing what exactly it was we wanted to do but it was very late as well. So we ordered a pizza (which took an hour and 20 minutes to come cuz they couldn’t understand my accent) chowed down and hit the hay.

We all slept very well and Mule, Rich and Kirk went on a recon mission to get some breakfast we could cook. They found a 7-11 so we ate Bacon and egg sandwiches with a cup of tea that Mule had brought over. Once we were all dressed and ready we went over to American Music so Wiz could get some Cymbals and sticks, and we could get guitar strings and picks. Very helpful shop American Music so if you’re ever ordering American guitars or anything, google them cuz they’re ace people.

At this moment in time, I’m sat in the control room, while Chris is setting up drum mics so we can start getting a kit sound and do some pre-production.

We will be doing some videos but we’ve gotta locate a fire wire. The lovely man at American Music was going to sell us one for $5 but it was the wrong size. We have now found out that it was NOT the wrong size and we will have to go back and buy it later when we go get lunch, so expect some videos of out journey so far really soon.
