The Audition to release new album in 2009
The Audition have posted a statement about their next record, which is due out next year."We've been gone since warped tour ended. We are currently working on our new record that will be released next spring! An announcement will be made next week as to who will be producing the record and I think you all will be very excited!
Between recording the new album, we will be playing some shows with our good friends in All Time Low! We cant wait for those! We also will be playing 2 headline shows in Erie, PA at Forward Hall (DEC 21st) and our hometown of Chicago at Reggies Rock Club(DEC 22nd).Support for both of those shows will be announced soon but tickets are on sale now!!!
After the record is tracked and mixed we will jump back on the road and head overseas to tour with a band we have loved for a long time, ALKALINE TRIO!!!! We are extremely excited about this tour and cannot wait to share the stage with a band we all grew up loving! As soon as our tour in the UK ends we will be flying to Austraila to play SOUNDWAVE 09 with NIN, Alice in Chains, New Found Glory, Jimmy Eat World, Alkaline Trio, Hellogoodbye etc, the list goes on and on!!
That's about it for now. I think we will release the "Make it Rain" video too sometime around Thanksgiving for a little thank you to all of you who have supported us up to now! New demos maybe too? hmmmm who knows! we love you!"
