Fall Out Boy for intimate London show next week
“We haven’t done a show in England that size in about five or six years - since no one really cared about us!” explains Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump. “So it should be really interesting and loads of fun. We do small shows like that every so often in the States, where on the odd weekend, we might show up and surprise people, but it’s a little bit harder to arrange when you are going across the Atlantic!”
“Our smaller shows are a lot looser,” he laughs. “In an arena show, you’re paying attention to cues and lighting and pyrotechnics, so it’s not like it’s the same show every night, but you have a template that you have to be careful about. However, when we do these one off or random little shows, we are just feet away from kids and if they want to hear something, they can shout it out, and we will actually hear them!”
