Metallica's 'Death Magnetic' #1 of the UK Chart

Rock legends, Metallica have fought off competition to reach top of the UK album charts this week with the release of their new studio album, 'Death Magnetic'.

Despite releasing the album a few days before official release in stores, Metallica still sold over 75,000 copies within the first week.

Metallica are due to play a fan club only show tonight at the London 02 Arena as previously reported, where tickets were sold for £5 each.
